"This is a good example of the benefits of the overall partnership: KEVICC booked Sundog on the recommendation of both Judith Higginbottom and Martin Phillips, who both knew them well and could guarantee the effectiveness of their work with schools. It is fashionable to insist upon the contributions that industry or arts professionals can make to schools, but they need to understand how schools work and what pedagogic skills are needed. Chris [Killock] says he cannot overemphasise the importance of ensuring that outsider provision really is excellent." |
